Edward Lear (English Poet; 1812-1888) wrote nonsense verse. He invented the “There once was a somebody from somewhere” genre of poetry which has stayed fashionable to this day amongst children of all ages. I have composed music to the following. I wanted to enclose the text of the poetry (public domain) with the album because reading skills are enhanced when children see and hear and read words. Unfortunately due to the constraints of being an impoverished artist (see donate) I simply could not afford to enclose a booklet. I had fit the entire text on a CD sized booklet, but I enlarge it all and reformatted it to fit in a 5.5 x 8.5 booklet. The following PDF is reading to print front and back on 8.5 x 11 inch paper. May I suggest heavy weight. HAPPY READING!!! HAPPY SINGING!!!! And Sleep Well.
(When I was composing the orchestra bell part for the Jumblies, I could run through it twice-maybe three times, before I would have to stop and take a nap. Everytime. At Studio D and after I added the orchestra bells to the track, I came into the control room to find both engineers yawning.)
