When I was a teenager my brother Steven brought home a huge pumpkin that must have fallen out of a truck. I baked half the pumpkin and made over 30 pies using different recipes. My brothers and their friends indulged in pie after pie while providing commentary and critique . This was voted the best recipe and I’ve been making it ever since.
