Using simple slab construction, I made a series of bottles designed for rum or other spirits.  Probably mostly used for decoration though they were high fired stoneware with high fired, food safe glazes.  My favorite was a lion.

These are the two I have left: The two headed griffin warped a bit in the kiln-as you can see.   It was the first one I made and was really just messing around with texture ideas. The water buffalo also was an experiment.  The beverage poured out through the mouth.   I decided with that experiment that the bottles had to feel more comfortable in the hand to be serviceable.
